Affiliate Disclosure

What an affiliate link is

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without the link. The commission comes from the retailer’s side, not from your pocket.

Programs we take part in

Our primary affiliate program is Amazon Associates. We may add other retailer or manufacturer programs related to hydroponics and indoor growing equipment in the future. If we do, this page will be updated and the links will be disclosed in the same way.

How this affects our recommendations

It does not. Our picks are chosen by comparing manufacturer specifications, documentation and verified owner reviews against the needs of a specific use case. A product does not get a better position because it pays a higher commission. We regularly recommend cheaper products when the specs and owner reports show they do the job.

In line with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), we disclose this relationship here and on the pages where affiliate links appear.

What we do not do

• We do not accept payment to publish a positive review.
• We do not claim to have hands-on tested products when we have not. Our work is research-based.
• We do not use fake urgency, invented discounts or made up testimonials.
• We do not sell products ourselves. Every purchase is made with the retailer under its own terms, returns policy and warranty.

Prices and availability

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date and time shown on the retailer’s site and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase applies to the purchase of that product.
